This is our final version of our ancillary task film poster. We used photo shop and indesign to create this. Since our last we improved quite a lot;
- We changed the background picture because our target audience said that it needed to show more relevance to the film, which the red post box has.
- We also changed the 'Dear Lucy' title from white to black and changed its position so that is more central and eye catching.
- We added the older versions of the children's names at the top of the poster
- Changed the caption from black to white and made it bigger and central
- The clothing chosen for Amy and James to wear were casual clothing but of the same colour scheme. The blue/ dark colours used were to present a hint of sadness in the romance genre and the postbox as the main catalyst of the film as their way of communication.
- We chose to change the picture so the two weren't looking directly at the camera as when looking at examples of posters for films like Dear John and The Notebook, the characters were not looking to the audience. This is a typical convention to make the poster look more professional and like a real poster.
